[QUOTE="halo3-player"]Heres one Assume that penguins live with a density of 1,000 penguins per square mile and can run at an average speed of 7 miles per hour on land and swim at 20 miles per hour. Also assume that a polar bear has a territory of 10 square miles, can run at 25 miles per hour and swim at 10 miles per hour, how many penguins will an average polar bear eat in any given month, remembering that a polar bear could, as a maximum, only eat one penguin per hour and 7% of the land is next to the sea.pintabear49blue

according to my intense mathmatical calculations and using wind speed as a variable of displacement , I have came to the conclusion of 0. Because they do not live in the same place.

Hmm you are correct

it depends on how long he was traveling for. other than that, i cant answer the question. you need the given distance or the given time. Putzwapputzen

It does not matter the distance he traveled. He did travel a distance though. Pick a distance above 0(in miles) and then do the math to find out how long he traveled for each way(in hours). Add the result . Take the distance traveled divided by the time it took to travel and you get the answer. Any distance will come out to the same thing.

I'm getting pretty good at these.

Heres one I made up, took this idea from another riddle, but I turned it into a rhyme.

"Try to catch me, try you might,

But the more you run, the harder the fight.

And just as you give up, and have a seat,

You find that catching me is an easier feat.

What am I?"

yes there is b/c July 4th is just a date, though Americans sometimes substitute the name for Independence Day, which is on the fourth of July. Is there an Independence Day in England? No, but there is a July 4th.

The wives in total receive $3,960 of which janice gets $100 more then susan and helen gets $100 more then janice. Here is a lateral thinking riddle. They have many solutins but only one "correct" solution. You may ask yes or no questions for these.

Here is an easy one to start:

An old man was found dead. He had been poisoned. he did not eat or drink anything that day. How was he poisoned?

Hints:

He followed his daily routine

he inadvertently put the poison ih his mouth

pintabear49blue

He eat the posion the day before. And he just now found the affects or that he was just found the next day but died when he took the posion

Nope. He was poisoned on the same day that he died.

Mistaken a prescription pill for a different thing that turned out to be a poison.
